The Identities of 5 Citizens Injured Near Yerevan's 'Red Hill' Cemetery During a Brawl and Gunfire Revealed
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal case in the Shengavit Investigation Division regarding attempted murder, carrying, possessing, using, and exploiting illegal weapons and ammunition, reported Shamshyan.com.
The criminal case was initiated on April 9, due to gunfire reported in the territory of the cemetery known as 'Red Hill' in the Charbakh district of Yerevan.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, police and investigators have determined that a 37-year-old resident of the Nor Arech neighborhood, Rafik Galikyan, was taken to the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center with a diagnosis of a 'chest gunshot wound.'
A 23-year-old David Harutyunyan, a resident of Garegin Nzhdeh Street, was admitted to the 'Shengavit' medical center with a diagnosis of 'abdominal injury.'
A 28-year-old Vahe Harutyunyan from Musayelyan Street was transferred to the 'Erebuni' medical center with a diagnosis of 'gunshot wound to the right lower limb.'
Additionally, a 31-year-old Tigran Musayelyan from Dilijan was taken to the same hospital with 'wound surface on the face, neck, and right shoulder joint area.'
A report was received at the Shengavit police division from the 'Astghik' medical center regarding a 27-year-old Narek Khachatryan, registered at the 'Sevan' penitentiary institution of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, who was brought in with a 'gunshot wound' diagnosis.
