Non-Working Days Declared in Georgia from May 4 to 11 Due to Covid-19

The interagency council operating within the Georgian government has called on employers to transfer employees to remote work. Additionally, during today's meeting, the council decided to declare non-working days in the country from May 4 to 11. This was reported by Aliq Media.
The council discussed the deteriorating epidemiological situation worldwide, including in Georgia. It once again urged citizens to properly wear masks, maintain social distancing, and avoid large gatherings and public events, which are prohibited by government decree.
In light of the pandemic situation in the country, the curfew from 21:00 to 05:00 remains in effect at this stage.
