Eight New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Artsakh

On April 7, 47 tests were conducted, resulting in the confirmation of 8 cases of coronavirus in Artsakh. The infected individuals are contacts of previously confirmed clusters. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.

Currently, 27 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment, while mild cases are receiving outpatient care at home.

Since the beginning of this year, a total of 4,936 citizens have been tested for laboratory detection of the coronavirus, with positive results reported for 640 of them. In total, 2,524 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Artsakh. 2,384 tests have been carried out overall.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh once again urges the public to follow guidelines in order to avoid new outbreaks and overcome the coronavirus infection as soon as possible.
