Which Forces Will Robert Kocharyan Form an Alliance With? - 'Hraparak'

The second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, stated in an interview with the Russian First Channel that he will participate in the snap elections with an alliance, leading a pre-election coalition of 2 or 3 parties, without disclosing which forces he is referring to.

According to certain sources, one of them is the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), and the second is the newly formed 'Renaissance Armenia' led by former Syunik governor Vahe Hakobyan. Included in its governing body are Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan, Sisian Mayor Artur Sarkisyan, Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan, Meghri Mayor Mkhitar Zakaryan, Tegh Mayor Nerses Shadunts, and former Tatev Mayor Murad Simonian.

The third party could potentially be 'Homeland,' founded by former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan, with whom negotiations are ongoing. Representatives of other forces will also be included in the coalition.
