Video: Yerevan Resident Found with Methamphetamine, Opium, and Marijuana at Home; Arrested
The Anti-Drug Department of the Police Chief's Office and the Human Trafficking and Illegal Drug Trafficking Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee conducted a search based on information obtained through operational and investigative measures. Under a court order, the apartment of a 49-year-old man living in Yerevan was searched.
Officers from the police canine unit participated in the search with trained dogs. Various types of drugs were found and confiscated from different parts of the house. Specifically, over 5 grams of methamphetamine, more than 28 grams of opium, over 4 grams of marijuana, and bottles of acetic anhydride were discovered. The man was taken into custody and has been arrested. Expert examinations have been ordered. The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing.
