Will Viktor Mnatsakanyan Leave His Position?
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia has announced a competition to fill the vacant position of the director of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. The announcement text has been published on the official website of the ministry.
The mandatory requirements for participation in the competition include: Armenian citizenship, higher education, at least five years of public service experience or five years of professional experience in a relevant field, or at least three years of work experience in arts management or music.
Knowledge of legal acts necessary for the performance of duties, including the Constitution of Armenia, the Law on Non-Commercial Organizations of the Republic of Armenia, labor legislation, and other legal acts is required. Additionally, the ability to develop concepts and guidelines for the development of the “Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra”, a non-commercial state organization.
Further criteria include proficiency in at least one foreign language, ability to conduct financial and economic activities, necessary skills for organizing and managing work, logical reasoning, and the ability to adapt in various situations, as well as knowledge of ethical rules for working with subordinates.
The competition will take place on May 14 at 10:30 AM in the building of the ministry.
Currently, the acting director of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is Viktor Mnatsakanyan.
