The sharp increase in temperatures is due to the influx of tropical warm air from the Arabian Peninsula. Beginning on April 5 and continuing until April 9, air temperature across the territory of the Republic of Armenia is expected to gradually rise by 8-10 degrees.
In the lowland regions of Syunik, temperatures during the day will reach +28 to +32 degrees by April 9, while in the Ararat Valley and Yerevan, temperatures will range from +27 to +29 degrees. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
It is noted that from April 5-9, dry weather is expected. The wind will blow from the southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s.
According to the meteorological forecast, Yerevan will also experience dry weather from April 5-9. Today, daytime temperatures in the capital are expected to be +19 to +21 degrees, while evening temperatures will drop to +16 to +18 degrees.
