Clarification from the Chairman of the Competition Protection Authority on the Expression 'Branded Firm Eggs'
Today, on the air of Azatutyun, the Chairman of the Competition Protection Authority, Gegham Gevorgyan, addressed his recent statement made during a broadcast on Public Television, where he referred to eggs sold for 200 drams as 'branded firm eggs.' This statement has sparked extensive discussions and humor across the internet.
“Brand means the trademark of a business, and it is no secret that all companies have their own trademarks. Without mentioning the name of a specific company, I stated during the interview, 'the brand of a certain firm'... Saying 'branded firm eggs' does not mean that the brand is a word of praise; it is merely a trademark,” said Gegham Gevorgyan.
