VIDEO: The Prime Minister's Assistant Promised Parents of Conscripts a Major Meeting with Pashinyan
Parents of soldiers serving in Artsakh have gathered near the Government building. They are demanding the immediate demobilization of all conscripts who participated in the last war in Artsakh.
After spending about an hour near the Government, they were informed that Prime Minister's assistant Nairi Sargsyan was ready to meet with about 25-30 parents. However, the parents insisted that Sargsyan should come out and speak with them personally.
Eventually, the Prime Minister's assistant came out and addressed the parents, stating that the Prime Minister would hold a large meeting upon his return from Moscow to listen to all the parents.
The parents, however, insisted that they needed a clear answer today, as the Prime Minister had promised specific timelines.
After Nairi Sargsyan left, the parents started chanting "demobilization" and later decided to stage a sit-in near the Government building until their demands are met. Currently, the parents are marching towards the Russian Embassy, stating that they are seeking assistance from Russia, after which they plan to return to the Government and, as they announced, spend the night there.
