A Small Armenian Position Remains Near Khndzoresk Village, Guarded by Soldiers

Near Goris, a small Armenian position remains close to Khndzakh village, which is guarded by military personnel, and is supported by local residents, former freedom fighters, and volunteers who understand the critical importance of this position in the area. This position is surrounded on all sides by Azerbaijani forces. The balance of power, without revealing specific numbers, favors the enemy significantly over our soldiers.

“In fact, this is our border; we are holding it, but they can capture us whenever they want. We are in a 'kettle.' We look in all directions, and there is an Azerbaijani soldier about 100 meters away, their flag raised,” says one of the soldiers guarding Khndzakh.

He assures that neither he nor his comrades remove their military uniforms for even a minute. “We can say we are surrounded. If we take off our uniforms, they can attack, capture us, and claim we are terrorists,” says our interlocutor.
