5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Registered on the Border of Russia and Mongolia
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has been recorded on the border of Russia and Mongolia, according to TASS, referencing data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The epicenter of the quake is reported to be located approximately 273 km southwest of Angarsk, a city with a population of around 243,000, and 29 km southwest of the Mongolian locality of Turut.
The earthquake's focus was at a depth of 13 km. There are no reports of casualties or damages as a result of the quake.
