Kosh Prison Officers Prevent Drug Transfer

On March 28, at around 11:00 AM, officers of the Kosh penitentiary institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, acting on operational information, discovered a polyethylene container and a package wrapped in adhesive tape during a search of the facility's internal restricted area. This was reported by the public relations department of the penitentiary service of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.

Inside the mentioned container, there was a mobile phone, while the package contained a greenish substance weighing 13 grams, resembling marijuana, and separated portions of a substance resembling methamphetamine, weighing 0.17 and 2 grams. Additionally, there was one pill marked 'B 8', reminiscent of a drug called Subutex, along with a stone intended to add weight to the package.
