Fatal Collision Near Abovyan Antituberculosis Dispensary Involving Toyota and Lada

A serious traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region on March 29. At around 14:45, a head-on collision took place between a Toyota Camry and a VAZ 21010 in front of the Republican Antituberculosis Dispensary on the Arzni highway in Abovyan, as reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the source, four individuals were injured in the accident, two of whom were in extremely critical condition and were transported to the Abovyan medical center. While investigators were working at the scene, a report was received from the hospital that one of the injured had died.

Based on the decision of investigator S. Sedrakyan, a criminal case has been initiated under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code. The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the deceased, the drivers, and the injured parties.
