Accident in Tavush Region: Collision between Mercedes and Mazda in Ijevan Injures Teacher and 3 Students

Today, March 26, an accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 09:00, on Independence Street in Ijevan, vehicles driven by local residents—a 36-year-old named Kristine S. in a Mercedes and a 65-year-old named Samvel E. in a Mazda—collided.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the passenger of the Mazda, 48-year-old Marieta S., the driver Kristine S., and her passengers—11-year-old Raisa P., 10-year-old Luiza P., 10-year-old Lernik S., and 13-year-old Rozi S., all residents of Ijevan—sustained injuries and were transported to the Ijevan Medical Center.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, the injured children are students at Ijevan School No. 5, while Marieta S. works at Ijevan School No. 4.
