Yerevan State Medical University to Implement Hybrid Learning Format

Yerevan State Medical University has announced: “Dear faculty and students, based on the decision made during the rectorate meeting on March 22, due to the pandemic situation, from March 29 to April 9, the university (including the YSMU college) will organize the educational process in a hybrid format as follows:

For students in the first to third years, from March 29 to April 2, the educational process for odd-numbered groups will be conducted online, while even-numbered groups will attend in person. From April 5 to April 10, the educational process for odd-numbered groups will be in-person, and even-numbered groups will have online classes.

For students in the fourth to sixth years, up to 30% of classes in subjects studied in a cyclic format will be held online. The assessment format for subjects studied in cyclic format will remain unchanged.

The online component of the courses will be organized according to the hybrid learning regulations developed by the university. Courses conducted at the simulation center will take place in person. Additional information regarding the organization of the educational process after April 10 will be provided on April 8.”
