Strong Winds Cause Damage to Roof Sheets, Trees, and Advertising Boards in Yerevan

On March 25, from 14:35 to 17:40, the National Center for Crisis Management received reports that strong winds had caused damage to roof sheets, trees, and advertising boards on Isakov Avenue, Moldova, Byron, and Fuchik streets in Yerevan. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

Rescue teams from the special rescue operations center of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as two fire and rescue teams from the Yerevan Rescue Division, were dispatched to the scene. The rescuers worked on dismantling the damaged structures, cordoned off the affected areas, secured the roof sheets of buildings, and maintained a presence at the site.
