Photos: Lavrov Celebrates Belated Birthday on Return Flight from Seoul

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov marked his belated birthday while returning from a working visit to South Korea. This was reported by Maria Zakharova, the Official Representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on her Facebook page.

“On the way back from Seoul to Moscow, Sergey Lavrov celebrated his recent birthday with a team of journalists. It was the same team that had presented him with a mask labeled ‘Writer Under Quarantine’ from around the world,” wrote Zakharova, posting photos taken on the plane where Lavrov and others were tasting his birthday cake.

It is worth noting that media outlets spotted Lavrov wearing a humorous mask in the Chinese city of Guilin on March 22. The diplomat celebrated his 71st birthday on March 21.
