I Call on the Supreme Judicial Council to Take Specific Legal Action Regarding This Incident: Aram Vardevanyan

I call on the Supreme Judicial Council to issue a statement regarding this incident, this disgraceful fact, and demand specific legal action. This was stated by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan on his Facebook page, referring to Amram Makinyan's post about Gagik Jhangiryan's meetings with Anna Vardapetyan and two investigators.

“Today, lawyer Amram Makinyan, who has extensive experience in the law enforcement system, published EVIDENCE that the recently elected member of the Supreme Judicial Council, Jhangiryan, has held meetings with executive branch representative Anna Vardapetyan, who has tendencies to interfere with the independence of the judiciary, and two investigators. One such meeting with the Prime Minister's assistant took place on February 16, Tuesday, during the most disgraceful court sessions in which I am participating as a defender,” Vardevanyan noted.

This fact, to put it mildly, strikes a blow to the authority and status of the Supreme Judicial Council as an independent constitutional body. I call on the Supreme Judicial Council to issue a statement regarding this incident and to demand specific legal actions to be taken regarding this disgraceful fact.”
