Vahram Poghosyan on Reports of Azerbaijani Group of 10-15 Getting Lost in Artsakh and Being Released on Higher Orders

168.am received information that about twenty days ago an Azerbaijani group of 10-15 individuals got lost in the vicinity of Vank village, and the Armenian forces had captured them but released them on the orders from above.

“We tried to verify the accuracy of this information with Vahram Poghosyan, the head of the Information Department of the Office of the President of Artsakh Republic. He denied this information, stating that there has been no record of even a single case of an Azerbaijani getting lost or crossing over in any part of Artsakh in the last month,” the media reports.

“The borders of Artsakh are secured thanks to the troops of the Defense Army and with the support of Russian peacekeepers. This means that the safety of the population is guaranteed. By the way, Vank village is quite deep inland, and to enter there, one must first pass through our front line, and there are police checkpoints. Secondly, today all places are clearly visible, and everyone knows where it is possible to cross and where it is not,” he noted.
