The Final Word on Lifting the State of Emergency Belongs to Pashinyan: 'Hraparak'
Yesterday, the National Assembly once again discussed the draft on lifting the state of emergency, which opposition members have brought up continuously. However, this time, the 'My Step' faction did not accept it; Ararat Mirzoyan called for a vote in favor of the draft: “It would be the best solution if the government summarized its work under the state of emergency and initiated the process of lifting it. We all clearly agree that elections have been announced, and in the near future, either the government or the ruling majority must initiate this process.”
The vote is set to take place today, but the members of 'My Step' did not have a clear answer regarding whether they would vote in favor or not. The final word belongs to Pashinyan: yesterday they had not yet been “notified” about the chief's decision.
