The Case of Burglary by a Minor in Sevkhar Community Uncovered
As a result of investigative and procedural actions carried out by the Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in the Tavush Province, the circumstances of a burglary committed by a minor resident of Sevkhar community have been clarified.
According to the factual data obtained during the investigation, a minor resident of the Sevkhar community, born in 2003, entered the private house of a fellow villager illegally through an unlocked door with the intent to secretly steal someone else's property on January 22, 2021, around 1:00 PM. In the bedroom, the minor took a wallet from the pocket of a robe placed on the bed, which contained cash.
Based on a sufficient combination of evidence, the minor from Sevkhar community has been charged under Article 177, Part 3, Subparagraph 1.1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (theft). The preliminary investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to the prosecutor in charge of the proceedings with an accusatory conclusion.
