Procedure for Issuing Death Certificates for Soldiers in Armenia to be Simplified

The procedure for issuing death certificates for soldiers in Armenia will be simplified as much as possible. This was stated by the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan during a session of the National Assembly on March 24, answering lawmakers' questions.

He specifically mentioned that currently, a draft to abolish state duties for heirs is being discussed with the Ministry of Finance. The draft law will be submitted to the government's approval in the coming weeks and then presented for parliamentary discussion.

“In addition, I have requested the Judicial Department to start discussing cases of recognizing individuals as deceased or missing,” added Badasyan.
