Macron Emphasizes the Need to Clarify Turkey's Role in NATO

French President Emmanuel Macron believes it is necessary to clarify Turkey's role in NATO, while also considering dialogue with Ankara as important, especially on issues of migration and security.

According to the French leader, what Turkey has been allowed to do in recent months is not typical in relations with allies. Macron emphasized the need to do everything possible to ensure that Turkey does not turn its back on Europe and move towards religious extremism or be forced to make geopolitical choices, which he believes could pose a greater danger to Europeans.
