Cold Snap Expected on March 28-29: Experts' Warning to Farmers

A cold snap is anticipated across almost all of Armenia, including the capital, with nighttime temperatures expected to drop below zero.

Frost is expected in the lowland areas of Armenia on March 28-29. The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has issued this warning to Armenian farmers.

“Dear farmers, considering the negative temperatures expected in the lowland areas of the republic during the nighttime hours of March 28-29, we advise against outdoor seedling planting,” the center's message states.

According to meteorologists, precipitation will cease in Armenia on March 28-29, with temperatures expected to drop by 10-12 degrees.

Nighttime temperatures across nearly all areas of the republic, including the capital, are forecast to be below zero.
