At What Age Can Children Be Admitted to the 1st Grade?

Children are admitted to the first grade of an educational institution if they turn 6 years old on or before December 31 of the current calendar year. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

Admission of children younger than this age to educational institutions is prohibited.
