Healthcare Workers' Salary Issues Resolved: Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has released a statement regarding the salaries of healthcare workers.

"We inform you that the electronic reimbursement for medical assistance and service cases provided within the framework of the state order during February 2021 will be processed within one banking day," the statement read.

According to the ministry, those medical organizations whose funding was disrupted will receive financial support in accordance with their limits.

It should be noted that around a thousand employees of the 'Ambulance' company had not received their salaries for the previous month. Recently, the Ministry of Health clarified that technical issues arose in the electronic reimbursement process for medical assistance and service cases provided in February 2021, causing delays in financial reimbursements for 4 out of 24 budgetary measures.
