Video: Spayka's Clarification on Storing Bodies of Fallen Soldiers in Their Refrigerators

Spayka company's statement emphasizes that since the first days of the war, it has supported and provided free services through all its resources for the benefit of the two Armenian republics, organizing and executing logistical operations.

From September 28, 2020, to November 9, 2020, the company executed freight transportation free of charge using its own resources, transporting more than 10,000 tons of cargo from Armenia to Stepanakert and Moscow-Yerevan-Stepanakert. Each transportation was a fight for life and death for the drivers, and we express gratitude to each of them. Unfortunately, four employees of the company lost their lives during the war, two of whom were drivers.

Overcoming significant obstacles, the company immediately took on the task of transporting 'OIZ' brand vehicles from Russia to Armenia, and then to Stepanakert, providing the entire service free of charge.

Spayka also sent humanitarian aid acquired with its own funds to the front lines, including around 185 tons of food, 45 tons of medicine, 'OIZ' children's vehicles, and 17 specialized technical units designed and prepared by the company.

Additionally, two refrigerated semi-trailers were provided free of charge to the Artsakh Defense Army, and three more refrigerated semi-trailers were supplied for the needs of the RA Ministry of Defense.

Regarding the refrigerated semi-trailers, we find it necessary to clarify that they were provided to government agencies at their discretion for the fulfillment of state needs due to the state of martial law.

The material assistance provided by the company to Armenia and Artsakh amounts to more than 2 billion AMD in monetary terms. These activities were carried out under the direct leadership of the company's founder and General Director, David Ghazaryan, through an operational headquarters that coordinated logistical activities 24 hours a day with the Artsakh military-political leadership, the RA Ministry of Defense, the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, the RA Defense Industry Committee, the Armenian Embassy in Russia, the Armenian Embassy in Georgia, the International Committee of the Red Cross Armenia Office, various communities, and other bodies and organizations.

The company continues to implement various development programs and collaborates with more than 80 communities in Armenia, supporting the restoration of agriculture in Artsakh. Regardless of the political environment in the independent country, the company considers its main mission to support the construction of a strong and stable economy in our homeland.

In this statement, partially opening some closed chapters, the company urges to refrain from unfounded speculation regarding the company’s name and business reputation. Spayka has been and continues to be next to Armenia and Artsakh, the Armenian army, and the Armenian soldier, exceeding its possibilities without any expectation for the establishment of Armenian statehood.
