The 10-Year-Old Son of a Missing Soldier from the Jermuk Unit Saved a Citizen's Life in a Canal
One of the two soldiers who went missing due to a snowstorm from the Jermuk military unit, 37-year-old Karen Petrosyan's son, Armen Petrosyan, saved a citizen's life nearly a year ago when they fell into a canal. This information was confirmed in a conversation with NEWS.am by Rostam Aroyan, the head of the Argin community in the Armavir region.
The mayor stated that they are currently hoping for good news, as they anticipate the snowstorm will subside and search operations can continue.
Aroyan mentioned that Karen Petrosyan was transferred to the Jermuk military unit from one of the units in Karvachar.
It is worth recalling that last year, 10-year-old Armen Petrosyan from the Argin community displayed exceptional humanitarian qualities and courage; he saved a citizen's life in the Talin main canal fed by the Akhurian Reservoir. He received a medal for his bravery.
