Over the Past 30 Years, We Have Consistently Crafted a ‘Half-Open Window’ Society: Naira Zohrabyan
Do not blame the people: for 30 years, we have crafted a ‘half-open window’ society. This was stated by Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of the Prosperous Armenia Party, on her Facebook page.
“Today, the most relevant question is this: does this people not understand that Nikol is a traitor and that he has handed over the homeland? No, they do not understand. Because over the past 30 years, we consistently turned the populace into a society of half-open windows and serials. For 30 years, the right to be a citizen was taken away from the people, who were fed with easily digestible serials and half-open windows, meant only to serve as election material.
Those serials that stupefied the people were rewarded with high state honors to erase the citizen from within a person. And finally, it has worked. The Nikolism divides into three stereotypes: ‘abjects,’ who are ready to adopt Islam on orders from Nikol, just to make sure the former ones do not return; brokers, for whom trading cheaply with the Turks over the lost Artsakh and the blood of victims is a higher matter; and the third stereotype, the ‘half-open window’ society, who genuinely do not understand that we have lost our homeland and that we will lose our statehood tomorrow as well.
They do not understand because for 30 years we have systematically erased the citizen from their souls, and we have not filled that empty space with anything. Therefore, we are all guilty,” the parliamentarian wrote.
