Former Deputy Minister of Defense: How can there be buzz about bringing planes while missiles are not delivered?

The former Deputy Minister of Defense, Artak Zakaryan, expressed astonishment on his Facebook page regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's announcement about purchasing aircraft without securing the necessary missiles. "How can there be a global uproar about bringing in planes but not delivering missiles?" he questioned.

Zakaryan highlighted the responsibility that comes with government leadership, stating, "In any normal country, if a single lie or deception is uncovered from the head of government, that government and the prime minister resign. It shows respect for the people, national dignity, political responsibility, and a basic human character. Your worldwide frauds and deceptions are being unveiled. They are exposing the truth both inside and outside your circles. Officially, you are being made a liar and fraud in public. Azerbaijanis mock you. Turkey is agitated concerning our General Staff to ensure you are not harmed. What have you made of our flourishing country, you glutton? If your voter has no brain and only lives with his stomach, shouldn't you and your so-called government have some dignity?

"How can you live without dignity? Let me expose another lie. Why did you deceive the poor people in June 2020, claiming that the Su-30 aircraft carried out combat training flights? Don't you realize that you only fooled the naive among your own people? Because both the arms market and thus the adversary knew the truth. The military was informed. People in the Ministry of Defense were absolutely astonished about creating such a global noise while bringing planes but failing to procure missiles. Are you not ashamed? Can't you refrain from lying, so you don't have to excuse later that you failed to bring missiles? You hurriedly brought the planes to celebrate someone's birthday and to boast. Ten months had passed since that day before the war erupted. Couldn't you manage to acquire a few missiles in those 10 months, you chronic liar?

"You are still deceiving the people now by claiming you couldn’t procure missiles. No, you didn’t want to. Because there was no PR value on missiles, while you had already established PR on the aircraft. Your voters who live with their stomachs were not excited about planes or missiles. They were interested only in military kebabs and salads. So stop lying that you couldn’t bring missiles. If you wanted to, you could have brought them within a month. Stop your deceitful rhetoric; it is shameful for a grown man like you."
