Fire in Yashkino Warehouse Contained; Approximately 200 Cubic Meters of Confectionery Destroyed

On March 21, at 15:31, the "SOS GeoRITM" fire alarm system alerted the National Crisis Management Center regarding a fire at the Yerevan Yashkino confectionery import warehouse located at 111 Raffi Street.

Four firefighting teams from the Yerevan city rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center and the duty group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization department, were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 17:58. According to preliminary data, approximately 200 cubic meters of confectionery were burned in an area of 600 square meters.
