Passenger Transport Statistics at Armenian Airports Compared to Previous Years

Passenger traffic at Armenia's two airports (Zvartnots and Shirak) totaled 154,494 people in the first two months of 2021. This was reported to NEWS.am by Satenik Hovhannisyan, the press secretary of Zvartnots International Airport.

In January, passenger numbers reached 64,296 (31,052 arrivals and 33,244 departures). In February, this figure increased to 90,198 (31,901 arrivals and 58,297 departures).

In the first two months of 2020, passenger traffic stood at 430,717 people. January figures then were 234,902 (115,425 arrivals and 119,477 departures), while in February, they were 195,815 (96,750 arrivals and 99,065 departures).

In the first two months of 2019, traffic figures showed 378,720 passengers, with 212,171 in January (104,170 arrivals and 108,001 departures) and 166,549 in February (81,921 arrivals and 84,628 departures).
