Rescuers Remove About 22 Vehicles from Blockage

On March 19, at 18:50, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that vehicles were blocked on the Sisian - "Zanger" section due to black ice, and assistance from rescuers was necessary to remove them. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A team from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a truck with a trailer had slipped on the black ice, blocking the roadway in both directions, causing a traffic jam of about 60 vehicles.

Rescuers managed to get approximately 22 vehicles out of the blockage. As of 21:02, the roadway was passable in both directions, although black ice remained on the surface.
