We Will Participate in Snap Elections, Says Arthur Vanetsyan
We will participate in the snap elections. This was stated by Arthur Vanetsyan, the head of the "Homeland" party and former director of the National Security Service, in an interview with Tert.am.
"Yes, we will participate, but I cannot yet say in what format; we will hold discussions within the party and announce it later," he said, emphasizing that he cannot address other issues at this time.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on his Facebook page that he has met with Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction, and during the meeting, they acknowledged that the best way out of the current political situation was through snap parliamentary elections.
"Taking into account my discussions with the President of the Republic of Armenia, with the My Step faction, and with Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction, snap parliamentary elections will be held in the Republic of Armenia on June 20 of this year," he wrote.
