Gegham Nazaryan: Questions Arise Among Parents of Soldiers Killed in War

The "Alternative Projects" group presents an article by Gegham Nazaryan: "The judge of the Administrative Court of Armenia, Mher Petrosyan, by deciding to grant the request of the defenders of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Onik Gasparyan, effectively reinstated him to his position, proving that he is more of a general than nearly four dozen military generals.

Now, Onik Gasparyan does not merely have the right, but is obliged to return to work. Furthermore, the Chief of the General Staff must operate as clearly and straightforwardly as Judge Mher Petrosyan. The public expects a clear and unambiguous statement from the General Staff.

The General Staff can no longer act halfway and make decisions that lack clarity. The public is also waiting for an explanation as to why, after the unlawful dismissal of Onik Gasparyan, the top criminal welcomed in the General Staff was greeted by the generals standing up and alert.

I, along with the parents of soldiers who died in the war, already have questions: Did these fearful and indecisive generals turn our sons into targets for enemy missiles and drones?

Now, there is no time to hesitate. The top criminal continues to mock the state and the country, doing whatever he pleases with the laws, making it clear that he does not care about the country, the state, or the citizens of Armenia.

The General Staff must make a clear statement and move towards specific and concrete actions. In particular, it must reaffirm its position regarding the Prime Minister, as well as take a clear stance regarding the declared state of war, demanding its immediate cessation."
