Armenia Has 2 Scenarios for the Future: Suren Sargsyan
Armenia has two scenarios for the future. This was stated by international expert Suren Sargsyan on his Facebook page. He specifically noted:
“1. Adopt a strategy for the return of Artsakh and concentrate all national resources around it. 2. Accept the act of capitulation and build the future around the supposed prospect of unblocking the region, making the act of capitulation the 'founding document' of the state. Any third scenario is a modification of one of these two. These two scenarios exclude each other:
1. In the broad sense of the term 'unblocking', it will not happen if we adopt the first scenario. 2. Even if we accept the second, both Azerbaijan and Turkey will always consider the first scenario's prospect. It is also clear that the act of capitulation makes this prospect very vague at first, unprofitable at second, and, most importantly, 'unblocking' can revert to 'blockade' within a matter of hours.
3. By the way, the vagueness of the second scenario is also due to the fact that Turkey and Azerbaijan still have territorial claims against Armenia.
4. The retention of the current authorities in Armenia excludes the first scenario.
5. It also excludes the second, as these authorities, being the authors and advocates of the second scenario, will even undermine that scenario.
