Former advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia and a pilot in both civil and military aviation, Hakob Jagharyan, wrote on his Facebook page about the Boeing that ‘accidentally’ appeared in Tehran.
Yesterday, the spokesperson for Fly Armenia, in a statement to the 5th Channel, said two key things in the subtext: the aircraft has technical issues and that there is a need for a specific detail. Additionally, the United States does not allow us to send it to Iran, which is under sanctions. They were not aware of the aircraft's presence in Tehran, suggesting that a third party must have secretly taken it there (effectively, a hijacking).
