Why is Nikol Pashinyan's father-in-law driving with Russian license plates?
Nikol Pashinyan’s father-in-law and MP Hrachiya Hakobyan has changed his car's license plates to Russian ones, possibly trying to hide behind them so that he would not be recognized by the public while appearing in that vehicle. This was reported by ‘Hraparak’.
“His blue Honda CR-V previously bore the MP registration number 055 HH 11, but following the capitulatory statement signed by their leader during the war, when public sentiment turned against their allies, some members of My Step began to change their vehicle license plates, seemingly to hide from the public eye. Among them were two deputy speakers from the parliament’s My Step faction, Alen Simonian and Lena Nazaryan, who removed the MP plates from their service Toyota Camrys and replaced them with Russian ones. However, the media quickly uncovered their cunning, after which several MPs reverted to their actual license plates.
But Pashinyan's father-in-law continues to drive with Russian license plates. His vehicle was recently spotted parked near the economic entrance of the parliament,” the media outlet reports.
