Tragic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: 4 Minors Have Died, One in Critical Condition
On March 14, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province, reports Shamshyan.com.
At around 19:40, an Opel vehicle traveling on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway at the 67 km mark, heading towards Talin, veered into the oncoming lane, uprooted a tree, collided with several rocks, and ended up rolling over multiple times in a field.
As a result of the accident, five individuals were urgently transported to the Talin Medical Center with extremely serious injuries, thanks to the efforts of doctors from Talin Hospital and passing citizens; three of them later succumbed to their injuries.
While attempts were being made to investigate the accident site, the Talin police department received a report from the hospital indicating that four of the injured had died.
The police and investigative unit are currently working to determine the identities of the deceased, the driver, and the injured.
An operational group, led by the head of the Talin police department, has also arrived promptly on the scene. According to photojournalist reports, the deceased victims are minors.
