Suspected Murderer Arrested in Gyumri

A 37-year-old man, Rafik Mnatsakanyan, died from multiple stab wounds in the Mush 2 neighborhood of Gyumri. The individual suspected of committing the murder has been located and apprehended. According to Shirak region prosecutor Gurgen Grigoryan, the suspect surrendered to the authorities thanks to police's explanatory work.

The suspect, based on preliminary data, has been registered at the Gyumri Mental Health Center since 2007, diagnosed with schizophrenia and paranoia.

It should be noted that today a murder took place in the Mush 2 neighborhood of Gyumri. Rafik Mnatsakanyan was killed by multiple stab wounds. From the same location, the victim's wife, 33-year-old Anush Sargsyan, and the victim's cousin, 28-year-old Armen Tonoyan, were hospitalized with injuries.
