It Seems Spring is Coming - Warming Up by 8-10 Degrees

From March 16 to 19, short-term rain is expected in some areas of the capital. On March 15, several regions of the republic are anticipated to experience a rainy day. This information is provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. In particular, precipitation is forecasted for Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn, and mountainous areas of Vayots Dzor.

The weather forecast indicates that it has been cold in several regions of the republic at night, particularly in Shirak, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Aragatsotn, and the mountainous areas of Vayots Dzor, with temperatures expected to reach -6 to -11 degrees. In Lori and the foothills of Syunik, it will be slightly warmer, around -4 to -9 and -5 to -9 degrees, respectively.

On March 15, positive temperatures are expected throughout the republic during the day. The highest temperatures are likely to be recorded in Armavir, Ararat, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the valley areas of Syunik, and Artsakh, reaching +8 to +11 degrees. The air temperature will gradually rise by 8-10 degrees on March 16-17.

In the capital, dry weather is expected on March 15. Night temperatures will hover around 0-2 degrees, while daytime temperatures will warm up to 8-10 degrees.
