The One Who Dishonors a Soldier's Honor Cannot Respect a Person's Work: Sofia Hovhannisyan on the Situation Around Arman Tatoyan
Dear compatriots, as you know, I was in Artsakh again a few days ago for several important programs, most of which I cannot write about publicly due to security reasons and to avoid enabling the political self-assertion of a few individuals. However, I would like to mention that we have once again started to resume our unfinished work on social, healthcare, and educational issues, and we are undertaking several other important initiatives, the results of which I will publish later.
This is reported by independent MP of the National Assembly of Armenia, Sofia Hovhannisyan. Due to the not-so-favorable communication conditions in Artsakh, I have refrained from discussing many issues, but I have become familiar with the government’s actions regarding the Ombudsman’s office, and I was not surprised, as I was expecting this. A hardworking and responsive person cannot avoid persecution.
Since the beginning of Onik Gasparyan's well-known story, I expected that it would soon be Arman Tatoyan's turn. My intuition did not fail me, and there was a quick transition. However, we have all seen the work of the Ombudsman's office, and we all must defend it from persecution in order to restore justice.
I will be consistent in monitoring the process, and I will take every step to ensure that the doors of the recently established institution are not closed. The one who dishonors a soldier's honor cannot respect a person's work. Stay strong and united.
