Major Car Accident in Yerevan: BMW X6 and Mercedes Collide Near Circus
A major car accident occurred in Yerevan on March 14. Around 00:25, at the intersection of Grigor Lusavorich and Agatangeghos streets, near the circus, a collision took place between a BMW X6, driven by 29-year-old Arman Hovhannisyan from A. Babajanyan Street in Yerevan, bearing license plate 20 CQ 020, and a Mercedes, driven by 54-year-old Karapet Manukyan, also a resident of Yerevan, which bore license plate 36 MՏ 226.
According to Shamshyan.com from the scene, Manukyan was transported to the number 1 university hospital with bodily injuries. Traffic police and representatives from insurance companies arrived at the scene. Before the traffic police arrived, the license plates had been removed from the BMW, and several citizens gathered at the scene, who refused to speak on camera, claimed that the driver of the arriving pink Mercedes was the one who removed the plates from the vehicle. It is reported that those who took the license plates returned them and placed them back on the BMW X6 at the request of the investigator.
