On March 14, a major and dramatic car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 01:20, a 31-year-old resident of Ejmiadzin, Andranik Aleksanyan, while driving his Mercedes, veered off the roadway on Spandaryan Street under unknown circumstances. The vehicle collided with a basalt curb, moved onto a sidewalk intended for pedestrians, continued forward, broke a support column of a gas pipeline, then crashed into the stone wall of house No. 17/1 on the same street, damaging the iron grilles and collapsing part of the wall. The car subsequently struck a tree and ended up overturned on the pedestrian sidewalk.

According to information from Shamshyan.com, the driver, A. Aleksanyan, and a passenger, 25-year-old Suren Abrahamyan, a resident of the Zvartnots district, received first aid on-site from the medical team of the 'Vagharshapat' medical center, before being transported to 'Vagharshapat' medical center for further treatment.
