An Airplane Crashes in Kazakhstan, 4 Dead and Injured

Yesterday, around 5:20 PM, contact was lost with the An-26 aircraft en route from Nur-Sultan to Alma-Ata during its landing at Almaty airport. According to preliminary information, the aircraft suffered an accident at the end of the runway.

As reported by the airport's press service, the plane belonged to the Kazakhstan State Border Service. Initial reports indicate that 4 people have died and 2 have been injured.
