Harutyunyan's Last Efforts to Save Himself and His Power
As much as the authorities of Artsakh try to show that they do not support the Armenian government's internal political processes, participants from Artsakh at rallies and marches taking place on Baghramyan Avenue assure that they are receiving calls from various figures close to Arayik Harutyunyan urging them not to join the gatherings.
According to the information from the newspaper "Pasta", while previously these messages generally took the form of threats, now they are being implemented through flattery, promises of granting credits, new loans, and engaging in various social programs.
In essence, Arayik Harutyunyan understands that the weakening of Nikol Pashinyan's position will automatically lead to a further weakening of his own power. Currently, Harutyunyan's approval rating has fallen, and moreover, public trust in him has reached a historic minimum.
