We Will Not Abandon Artsakh, Regardless of Anyone's Embrace – Vitaly Balasanyan

“No one should ever think that Artsakh will not have Armed Forces.” This statement was made by Vitaly Balasanyan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh, during an interview on the public television program “Day. Topic.”

“Artsakh has had, has, and will have Armed Forces that are more mobile and more combat-ready. Together, we can help and make sure that no issues are resolved through military means in the Republic of Armenia. The same applies to the Republic of Artsakh. Everything must be done in a civilized manner,” he said.

Balasanyan emphasized that Artsakh will not be abandoned, regardless of anyone's embrace, and that Artsakh will remain a subject, as part of the Armenian identity. “I am more than confident that with the Republic of Armenia, we will have one united Greater Armenia,” said the Security Council Secretary.
