Immediate Snap Elections are Needed: Gagik Tsarukyan

The leader of the Prosperous Armenia party believes that every passing day works against our country and people. It is necessary to hold snap elections in our country as soon as possible. This was stated by Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, during a conversation with the media.

According to him, this should happen immediately to stabilize the country and develop the economy; otherwise, the people become poorer day by day. Tsarukyan is confident that the sooner a new authority and a new government are formed, the quicker the country will move towards recovery.

“Every moment works against us, the people, and the economy. The Prime Minister must resign, and snap parliamentary elections must take place. The people will vote for whom they trust,” emphasized the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party.

It is worth noting that just moments ago it became known that the meeting between the Prime Minister and opposition forces at the Presidential Palace will not take place. The President had proposed a meeting with the opposition forces and Nikol Pashinyan at the Presidential Palace. According to Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, he agrees with the opinion expressed by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the coordinator of the Homeland Salvation Movement, that they will agree to the meeting if it is held according to their agenda—in the National Assembly session hall and broadcast live. He emphasizes that they have nothing to hide from the public.
