Azerbaijanis Destroy Monument Dedicated to Nelson Stepanyan in Shushi

Azerbaijani barbarians have destroyed the monument dedicated to double hero of the Soviet Union, Nelson Stepanyan, in Shushi. Stepanyan was originally from Shushi. He liberated Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kakhovka, Leningrad, Crimea, and the Baltic region.

In memory of Nelson Stepanyan, four monuments have been erected in Yerevan, Stepanakert, Liepāja, and his birthplace Shushi. The monument in Liepāja was moved to Kaliningrad in the 1990s. Stepanyan was also awarded the Order of the Red Banner.
