Video: Fire Breaks Out in Former 'Arax' Factory Warehouse on Yegvard Highway

On March 11, at 18:43, a call was received at the Kotayk Crisis Management Center reporting a fire in the warehouse of the former 'Arax' factory on Yegvard Highway in Yerevan.

Four firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan Rescue Department, along with operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center and the Department for the Organization of Firefighting and Rescue Operations, were dispatched to the scene.

A complexity level '1 BIS' alarm was declared. It was determined that cardboard boxes were burning in an area of approximately 70 sq. meters within the non-operational factory.

The fire was contained by 19:29 and extinguished by 20:09. A total of 10 sq. meters of stacked cardboard boxes were burned.
